Set Up
- 1Load plates onto the assistance horns — more weight makes the movement easier.
- 2Adjust the chest pad so it meets your upper torso when you kneel upright.
- 3Kneel on the padded platform facing away from the assistance arm.
- 4Lock your heels firmly under the foam rollers.
How to Use It
- 1Keep a straight line from your knees to your head.
- 2Lower your torso toward the floor by lengthening your hamstrings.
- 3Let the counterbalance help you pull yourself back to upright.
- 4Grip the handles for safety if you reach failure on the way down.
Helpful Tips
- Start with more assistance than you think you need — this is a demanding movement.
- Keep your hips fully extended; do not bend at the waist.
- Focus on a slow, controlled descent.
- Ask a trainer before your first set if you are new to Nordics.
Not sure? Ask a trainer before using.
