Sorinex Double-Handle Diamond Bar
Rackable Trap Bar
The centered, neutral-grip position provides a different pulling setup than a straight-bar deadlift. The two handle heights let members select either a full-range pull or a higher starting position.
Official product information ↗Best For
- Trap-bar deadlifts
- Raised-handle deadlifts
- Shrugs
- Loaded carries
- Rows
- Rack-based presses
Set Up
- 1Choose the low or raised handles before loading the bar.
- 2Step into the center of the diamond.
- 3Position the feet evenly between the sleeves.
- 4Grip both handles in the center.
- 5Load both sides evenly and secure the plates with compatible specialty collars.
Coaching Cues
- 1Brace before lifting.
- 2Push the floor away.
- 3Keep the chest and hips rising together.
- 4Keep the bar level from side to side.
- 5Stand tall without leaning backward at lockout.
Common Mistakes
- Counting the empty bar as 45 pounds — it weighs 70 pounds.
- Starting off-center inside the frame.
- Allowing one side to rise before the other.
- Confusing the low and raised handle positions.
- Mixing bumper plates with smaller-diameter plates under heavy loads. Sorinex warns this can bend the bar because the smaller plates do not contact the floor.
